Both courses start and finish at the Dublin Methodist Hospital at 7:00am on August 26th, 2012. The courses wind through Glacier Ridge Metro Park.

Parking
You have a few options for parking:
- Kroger Plaza located at 7100 Hospital Dr, Dublin, OH 43016 in any space except the spaces between the cones. (These spots are closest to the store fronts — please leave these open for store patrons)
- Pacer Global located at 6805 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH 43016
- Buffalo Wild Wings — home of the post race VIP party. Walk over to the start and join us back at the party.

Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup begins on Wednesday, August 22 at Fleet Feet Sports at Polaris.
Free parking, convenient hours, cool stuff. Packet Pickup (and in person registration if the event is not yet full) is open during all normal store hours. Wed–Thur from 10am–8pm, and Fri–Sat from 10am–6pm.
Fleet Feet is located in the Polaris Area just North of Columbus at 1174 East Powell Road in Lewis Center, OH 43035. The phone number for more information is (614) 846-5625. To get directions to the store you can map them here.
Race day packet pickup will be available on Sunday, August 26 from 5:30–6:30am at the starting line at the race site at Dublin Methodist Hospital.
The Ultimat Post Race VIP Party!
Good. Better. Ultimat!
The Ultimat Post Race Brunch VIP Party presented by Ultimat Vodka and Buffalo Wild Wings opens at 8am at Buffalo Wild Wings (a few hundred yards from the Finish Line). Every participant receives a Free Bloody Mary or Ultimate Orange Crush, free munchies and great food deals.
Race elements
- The Quarter Marathon Course will be open for 2 hours and the Half for 4 hours;
- 9 Aid Stations and 1 Gu Station on the Half Marathon and 4 Aid Stations on the Quarter Marathon;
- OhioHealth medical support led by our Medical Director, Dr. Darrin Bright;
- Our World Famous MIT pace and balloon team;
- Course entertainment;
- Entry to the Ultimat Post Race VIP Party presented by Ultimat Vodka and Buffalo Wild Wings, starting 8am at Buffalo Wild Wings (a few hundred yards from the Finish Line). Every participant receives a Free Bloody Mary or Ultimate Orange Crush, free munchies and great food deals;
- A finisher's medal;
- EVERY PARTICIPANT RECEIVES A GENDER SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SHIRT - just like Cap City.
Course Entertainment
We are excited to have the Trinity All Stars join us as part of our on course cheerleaders. Trinity is the hottest new competitive cheer team in the Columbus area!
Finisher Medals
All finishers will be greeted at the finish line with a one-of-a-kind medal. Volunteers will be there to put your well deserved medal around your neck.
Inclement Weather Policy
Weather forecasts will be monitored prior to the event paying special attention to the possibility of heavy rain, thunder and lightning, high winds and extreme temperatures. If necessary, athletes will be made aware of these predictions on this website (www.emeraldcityhalfmarathon.com) so that participants can properly prepare for severe weather during the race as well as possible course alterations. Severe weather updates will also be sent to participants via email as necessary.
The Race Director and Medical Director will monitor the weather and make a decision if any action will be taken to modify the race. Possible changes include: altering the start time for the race or in extreme situations, cancellation of the event. Please listen closely to all public address announcements at the starting line of the race.
Visible lightning will cause the race to be postponed for a minimum of 15 minutes. Additional sightings will continue to delay the race in 15 minute increments.
If heat is predicted, extra water will be provided to the athletes, both prior to, during and after the event. The medical team will be alerted that athletes may require additional medical attention during and after the event due to the high temperatures. If it is felt that it is unsafe for participants to start the race due to severe heat that race may be cancelled.
Race personnel reserve the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race due to inclement weather. Participants must abandon the race if ordered to do so the race personnel, medical staff, fire or police officers.
