Both courses start and finish at the Dublin Methodist Hospital at 7:00am on August 26th, 2012. The courses wind through Glacier Ridge Metro Park.

Packet Pickup begins on Wednesday, August 22 at Fleet Feet Sports at Polaris.
Free parking, convenient hours, cool stuff. Packet Pickup (and in person registration if the event is not yet full) is open during all normal store hours. Wed–Thur from 10am–8pm, and Fri–Sat from 10am–6pm.

Race day packet pickup will be available on Sunday, August 26 from 5:30–6:30am at the starting line at the race site at Dublin Methodist Hospital.

The Ultimat Post Race Brunch VIP Party presented by Ultimat Vodka and Buffalo Wild Wings opens at 8am at Buffalo Wild Wings (a few hundred yards from the Finish Line). Every participant receives a Free Bloody Mary or Ultimate Orange Crush, free munchies and great food deals.
Course EntertainmentAll finishers will be greeted at the finish line with a one-of-a-kind medal. Volunteers will be there to put your well deserved medal around your neck.
Weather forecasts will be monitored prior to the event paying special attention to the possibility of heavy rain, thunder and lightning, high winds and extreme temperatures. If necessary, athletes will be made aware of these predictions on this website (www.emeraldcityhalfmarathon.com) so that participants can properly prepare for severe weather during the race as well as possible course alterations. Severe weather updates will also be sent to participants via email as necessary.
The Race Director and Medical Director will monitor the weather and make a decision if any action will be taken to modify the race. Possible changes include: altering the start time for the race or in extreme situations, cancellation of the event. Please listen closely to all public address announcements at the starting line of the race.
Visible lightning will cause the race to be postponed for a minimum of 15 minutes. Additional sightings will continue to delay the race in 15 minute increments.
If heat is predicted, extra water will be provided to the athletes, both prior to, during and after the event. The medical team will be alerted that athletes may require additional medical attention during and after the event due to the high temperatures. If it is felt that it is unsafe for participants to start the race due to severe heat that race may be cancelled.
Race personnel reserve the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race due to inclement weather. Participants must abandon the race if ordered to do so the race personnel, medical staff, fire or police officers.
